The MA 255 stereo matrix mixer can be used on occasions when we would like to play separate music tracks in different locations at the same time. (schools, restaurants, hotels etc.)

5 stereo inputs and 5 stereo outputs are available. On the 5 inputs we can connect a CD player, an Mp3 player or any other audio device. On the output channels we can connect up to 5 speakers located in different areas and send out the desired audio signals to these.

As soon as we connected the desired devices we can chose with the help of the 5 switches provided, which source should be played in which location. Any 5 signals can be sent to any channel, so this is very useful if we'd like to play separate tracks in different locations, or even the other way round, one track in all locations.

With this devices we can control what, or who we want to hear in which room. The MA 255 is provided with such buttons, that only light up when the audio source on the desired channel is selected. Whit this we can always keep an eye on which track is sounding in which room.

On the front panel of the MA 255, apart from the buttons we can find 5 knobs as well, so we can set different levels for each location. On the back side we can find the 5 stereo in and stereo out 6.3 mm jack inputs.

We can also find an ALARM input, which, when connected with a fire alarm system in the case of emergency quits the audio signals and send out a fire warning out to every location. This can be an important featured when used at schools, hotels, factories or restaurants.

A "pager control" input can be found as well. With the connection of a pager microphone we can deliver spoken information with one switch on all channels. The MA 255 functions with a 12V power supply and is capable of forwarding line-in signals as well.
